Tina is a ‘near native’, having moved to Sarasota from Chicago at age four. After watching Sarasota change over the years, Tina understands the importance of local businesses and marketing. While earning degrees in both Computer Programming and Business Administration, Tina learned the fundamentals of Real Estate business as the Listing/Closing Coordinator at Laughlin’s Luxury Lifestyles. Learning from the best, Tina developed her belief in the importance of integrity, vision, and helping the community being served. Area Real Estate Agents took notice quickly of Tina’s ability to help them sell the Sarasota (and surrounding areas) lifestyle. Her passion for community has led to not only being a trusted name in marketing, but an example for giving back. Tina is known with the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee, as well as The Women’s Council of Realtors, as a business owner who is always willing to pitch in for a good cause. She especially enjoys opportunities and organizations that help young women to reach their full potential. When not focusing on the glamorous world of marketing, Tina is sure to be spending time with her family. Her true passion in life is her husband, James, her children Elizabeth and Michael, and her granddaughter, Ophelia – who cannot get enough of her ‘YaYa’.
James hails from Charlotte, Michigan. At 11 years old, James’ family moved to Sarasota. His childhood memories of snow help him to really appreciate and love the Florida lifestyle. He is not only the Vice President of Innovative Agent Services, but also Production Manager, ensuring jobs are completed perfectly and on time. While James takes the position of ‘silent partner’ from time to time, it is his vision, voice, and creativity that has helped to shape a company ready for continued growth and success. James brings his attention to detail and no-nonsense attitude towards getting the job done to work with him every day. He is usually the first person through the door in the morning, ensuring we are ready to make it a great day for clients and ourselves. James strives for customer satisfaction on the first try and is an inspiration to the team for how hard work and dedication pay off. James met Tina and the two became good friends in the 8th grade. Many years later, they realized how great of a partnership they would make. James absolutely shares Tina’s strong passion for family. When he is not working, you can be sure to find him spending time with them or restoring his 1969 Corvette. Between his son Michael, daughter, Elizabeth and new granddaughter, Ophelia he has plenty to keep up with. He especially enjoys days spent cooking on the grill and relaxing by the pool.
Elizabeth, a 2006 graduate of Riverview High School, was born in Sioux Falls, SD. She left the Dakotas at the age of 6 weeks and has been a Floridian ever since. Elizabeth has been a member of Tina Darling’s “team” longer than anyone, as she is our illustrious owner’s daughter. Starting as a Mailroom Assistant while in high school, Elizabeth quickly showed her creative edge and flourished as our Broadcast Email Designer, then worked her way up the company and is now the Marketing Director and VP of Business Development. Elizabeth truly embraces the “innovative” aspect of our business developing the specials, offers, and incentives that keep the phones ringing with new and existing clients alike. With an eye for detail, Elizabeth strives while helping clients to build their brand and reach their audience in cutting-edge ways. She is sharing her passion for marketing and networking as the Co-Chair for the Suncoast Regional Young Professionals Network’s Communication Committee. When not serving her company and community, she is sure to be spending time with her daughter, Ophelia: Voted by IAS Team Members as ‘cutest kid in Sarasota’. Elizabeth is married to the beautiful Lauren, also a dedicated and proud Mother.
Inside Sales Coordinator
Lori Mitchell was born and raised in the great city of Sarasota. Before becoming the Inside Sales Coordinator at Innovative Agent Services, Lori worked as the Sales/Showing Coordinator for Century 21 for over 17 years. She also has previously worked for MS&C as an Asset Management Coordinator. Lori brings a diverse and expansive arsenal of knowledge to our innovative team. Her hard work and customer service/sales experience will broaden horizons for the IAS team. Lori is a proud mother, 9ball team captain and lover of animals!
Hailing from the Midwest, Tony was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri—home to the Cardinals, Budweiser, and toasted ravioli. Tony received his B.A. in Speech & Media Communications from Webster University in 2011. He’s had the privilege of living in three states and two continents. His social media marketing expertise stems from consulting for small start-ups, nonprofits, language schools, fitness facilities and merchant services providers. Tony believes that harnessing every social platform with diversity and innovation is the only way to succeed in the digital age. Like the famous André Gide once said: “Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” Tony has an unyielding passion for traveling, fitness, boating, sports and learning languages. When he’s not socially flaunting your brand, you can find him relaxing at the beach, cheering on his Cardinals, relishing Thai food, or trying to revive his semi-broken Mandarin. We think you’ll “like” him.
Graphic Designer Aimee Charbeneau, originally hailing from Warren, Michigan relocated to Florida in 1991 to live with her Grandparents. She has been in the printing industry since 1989 and worked her way up from the bindery in a printshop, through all of the positions until she became a graphic artist. She has experience in everything from the front counter to final packaging. With a back ground of over 20 years and hands on experience in everything related to print, including publications, business printing, signage, logo design, promotional items and apparel, she is able to handle any of your graphics needs.
Art is not only her career, it is also her passion. In her spare time she likes to create more art and do fine art and crafts or read. Aimee comes with creativity in her DNA, she is a graphic artist like her mother was, and she has always been into art and design as far back as she can remember. Her first job was as a keyliner with her Mom at the printshop she worked at back in 1989. We’re sure you’ll find the experience of working with Aimee very easy and rewarding!
